Interview (Online mode) will be held in the Division of Microbiology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi
110012 to recruit Young Professional-II under the project entitled “Production and
Valorization of Muconic Acid from Agricultural Waste to Produce Adipic Acid Via a
Combined Fermentation and Chemical Catalytic Process” Code 24-738B/TG-3619 Funded by ICAR and at CCUBGA, Division of Microbiology, ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012 to110012 to recruit Junior Research Fellow and Young Professional-I under the project entitled “Development of hand-held instrument for nondestructive quality testing of mango” Funded by ICAR.

Duration – The appointment is purely on a temporary basis initially for a period of six months.

After screening the applications, the eligible and selected candidates will be informed about the details of the online interview on 28/02/2022 at 10:00 AM scheduled.

Terms and Conditions –

1. The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis. The post is co-terminus with the project and will be offered initially for a period of six months or
   till termination of the project whichever is earlier and further extendable based on
   satisfactory performance for the remaining period of the project.
2. The candidate age should be minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years, age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC, is applicable as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.
3. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption
   either in this institute or in ICAR. Non‐maintenance of the discipline and failure to
   perform the assigned duties will make the candidate liable for termination during the
   appointment period as per ICAR rules.
4. Candidates should send their complete bio-data along with duly self-attested copies of
   certificates and mark sheets, experience certificate (if any) and no objection certificate
   from the employer in case of currently employed elsewhere through e‐mail to
   [email protected] for YP II and [email protected] for JRF and YPI.
   Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the
   interview. Candidates who are not able to append their essential degree completion
   certificate will not be eligible to attend the interview.
5. Candidates joining after the specified time for online interview may not ordinarily be
   entertained.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
8. The interview of eligible candidates will be held online on 28th February 2022 at 10.00 AM in the Division of Microbiology ICAR-IARI, New Delhi for YP II and at CCUBGA Division of Microbiology ICAR-IARI, New Delhi 110 012 for JRF and YP II.

The decision of the Joint Director (Research), IARI will be final and binding in all respects.

For Post I 

Emoluments – @35000 fixed

Essential Qualifications – M.Sc. in Microbiology/Plant pathology/Biochemistry/ Physiology/ Life Sciences.

Desirable Qualifications – Research experience regarding the handling microbial cultures.

For Post II 

Emoluments – Rs. 31000/- + HRA per month

Essential Qualifications – Minimum 60% marks – Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Food Science and Technology and relevant subjects with 4 years/5 years of
Bachelor’s degree or candidates having Post Graduate degree in Basic Science with 3
years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree, should have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/GATE or Ph. D. in relevant discipline as above.

Desirable Qualifications – Working research experience in the field of Biochemistry,
knowledge on computers, exposure to multivariate statistical analysis software packages
for chemometrics.

For Post III

Emoluments – Rs. 25000/- Consolidated

Essential Qualifications – B.Sc. (Ag.) or or B.Sc. in Botany/Biology/ Microbiology/Life
Science or B. Tech.(Biotechnology)

Desirable Qualifications – Master degree in any relevant field will be preferred, knowledge of computers and data handling, exposure to statistical analysis, exposure
to microbiological techniques.
