Name of Position – RA – 1
Number of Positions – One
Name of the Project – “Functional characterization of TaMSL5-D of bread wheat”
Name of the PI – S K Upadhyay
Duration – Maximum upto 3 years and co-terminus with the project.
Tenure – The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Age Limit – 40 and 45 years for male and female candidates respectively.

complete biodata and attested copies of the necessary certificates indicating the date of birth, marks in qualifying examination, Masters and PhD award/ thesis submitted letter and research publications to the undersigned by 10th Feb 2022.
Candidates will be shortlisted as per academic qualifications and research experience strictly relevant to the project. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by mail and the notice board of the departmental
website. The interview will be held on 21st Feb 2022 from 11.00 AM in the Office of the Chairperson, Department of Botany, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The report along with the original certificates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.Emoluments – Rs 47,000 p.m.plus HRA as per guidelines.
Educational Qualification –
- M.Sc degree in Botany/Biotechnology/Life sciences with at least 55 % marks.
- Ph.D in Botany/Biotechnology with published research preferably on gene cloning and
functional characterization in plants
