Terms and Conditions

• The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months, which may be extended after the satisfactory performance of the incumbent till the termination of the project.
• There is no provision of re-engagement after the termination of the project.
• The selected candidate shall not claim for a regular appointment, as the fellowship is co-terminus with the project.
• The maximum age on the last day of the application as per the advertisement of the applicant is 35 years for JRF/FA and 45 years for RA.
• No TA /DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Desired Qualifications –

1. Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Life Science/ Marine Biotechnology/Marine Biology/ Fisheries/Aquaculture or equivalent degree
   OR
2. Having 3 years of research design and development experience after M. Tech in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Life Science/ Marine Biotechnology/ Marine Biology/
   Fisheries/Aquaculture with at least 1 research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
   OR
3. M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Life Science/ Marine Biotechnology/Marine Biology/ Fisheries/Aquaculture with 3 years of research design and development experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI)
   Journal.

Experience – The candidate should have research experience in molecular biology techniques, working with NGS platforms and especially RNA isolation and transcriptome data analysis with good research publication will be preferred.

For Post II

Fellowship –

1. For Research Associate having qualification as mentioned at No 1, 2.
   Fellowship will be
   RA I: Rs. 47,000/- +HRA
   RA II: Rs. 49,000/- + HRA
   RA III: Rs. 54,000/- + HRA
   OR
2. For Research Associate having qualification as mentioned at No 3. Fellowship will be

Desired Qualifications –

1. PhD in Bioinformatics or Biotechnology
   OR
2. Having 3 years of research experience after M. Tech in Bio-informatics with at least 1 research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
   OR
3. M.Sc. in Bioinformatics with 3 years of research experience with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Experience – The candidate should have research experience in Bioinformatics with good research publication will be preferred.

For Post III

Fellowship –

Experience – The Candidates have research experience in cell culture/cell selex system, aptamer designing, NGS data analysis, and having an interest in single-cell genomics with good research publication as evidence will be preferred.

Desired Qualifications –

1. Post Graduate in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology or graduate Degree in the professional course in the above subjects with NET qualifications and two years of research experience preferable in the area of microbiology/bioinformatics, Antimicrobial Resistance etc. OR
2. Post Graduate in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology or graduate Degree in the professional course and two years of research experience preferable in the area of microbiology/bioinformatics Antimicrobial Resistance etc.

Fellowship –

• For Junior Research Fellow having the desired qualification as per DST, GOI, mentioned at no.1, fellowships will be Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
