Entrance Examination for Ph.D/PDCC/PGCC/ Certificate Courses and Fellowship
Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an autonomous super-speciality Institute of excellence under the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The vision of ILBS is to be a global leader by becoming a beacon of patient care, teaching and research in the field of Liver and Biliary diseases and allied disciplines. The Deemed-to-be-University status was conferred to ILBS by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.
The institute is inviting applications for the entrance examination for PhD, PDCC, PGCC, Certificate courses and Fellowship for the academic session starting from 01st January 2022, as per the details given below –

| 01 | Ph.D Molecular and Cellular Medicine | 07 | (1) NET qualified candidates Applicants who have cleared a national level examination like CSIR/UGC-NET JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF need to appear for a Direct Interview. Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Zoology, Microbiology) or a Professional degree (MBBS, Master Degree in Medical or Dental Sciences, M.Tech. M.Pharma M.V.Sc or other degrees) declared equivalent to a Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory body. Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade as per UGC rules. |

Duration of the Courses –
PDCC & fellowship- one year duration
# PGCC courses-one year duration
## PGCC courses – 06 months duration
Certificate courses- 06 months duration
Ph.D. – 3-5 years duration
How to Apply –
- The interested candidates should apply online at the ILBS website (http://www.ilbs.in).
- The last date to apply for online application for all the above courses is 30.11.2021.
Procedure for Admission –
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of all India entrance tests. The Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts as detailed below. The general instructions regarding filling up online forms, application fees and admission to the courses are detailed on the website (http://www.ilbs.in).
Examination Schedule –
- Written Examination – 19.12.2021 (Sunday)
- Departmental Assessment – 20.12.2021 (Monday)
The courses shall commence from 01/01/2022.
