Tenure – The engagement in the project is purely on a contract basis maximum for the period of duration of the project. However, the appointment will initially be offered till May 31st 2022 and may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance or co-terminus with the

course of time.
The envelope/s should be labelled separately mentioning the post applied for.

For Post I
Essential Qualification – Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences or Post Graduate in
Professional Course with National Eligibility Test: CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, ICMR
etc. along with two years of Research Experience after post-graduation.
Desirable – Experience in basic molecular biology techniques and working experience
in handling biological materials, serological techniques and molecular tests.
For Post II
Essential Qualification – PhD in Virology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, with at
least one year experience in working with virus-related work after completion of
PhD degree.
Desirable – Candidate should have experience in working with Viruses, familiar with
ELISA, cytokine assays, RT-PCR, handling biological samples, knowledge of
bioinformatics and concept of sequencing, etc. Experience in writing research grants
and scientific manuscripts will be desirable.
Remunerations – As per DBT/BTRAC funding rules (Age relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWWomen candidate as per rules)
