Name of the Project – “Gene fusion markers in prostate cancer – an observational study
Name of the PI – Dr Anju Bansal
Duration of contract – The appointment will be made initially for a period of one year likely to be extended on the basis of fellows performance for a maximum duration of three years or the end of the project whichever is earlier.
Age limit – Upper age limit is 35 years, relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/woman candidates as per Govt of India/ICMR rules.

Candidates applying after the due date and time will not be entertained.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS –
- The period of appointment will be initially for a period of one year and is likely to be extended further on yearly basis up to a maximum period of three years or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate.
- Those candidates who are working in Govt organizations/Public undertaking / autonomous bodies should provide a No Objection Certificate from his/her employer. It may be noted that there is no provision for a Hostel facility at the National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi.
- Merely fulfilling the essential criteria does not qualify for the selection. The applications received will be screened and the shortlisted candidates will be intimated through e-mail provided and the interview will be held through video conferencing e.g. zoom meeting. The information regarding the interview will be shared with the shortlisted candidates on the e-mail id provided by the candidate.
Fellowship – Rs. 35,000 plus 27 percent HRA
Essential Qualification – M.Sc. in Life Science / Genetics / Molecular Biotechnology / Biochemistry. Should be CSIR-UGC NET qualified or equivalent with 2 years of research experience.
Desirable – Experience in Molecular Biology.
