Name of the Project – “PIG060005SI: Molecular characterization of mulberry genetic resources for the identification of duplicates and effective utilization”.
Duration of the Project – The duration of the project is up to February 2023.

- The above post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and also subject to the satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
- No TA/DA will be provided to appear for the interview.
- Candidates should bring two passport size photographs, a photocopy of marks cards and certificates in support of their experience. Caste certificates in the case of SC/ST candidates.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
- The decision of the Director shall be final and binding in all aspects.
- The interview will be conducted as per the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Govt. of India and candidates are requested to take all necessary precautions wearing face masks and hand gloves. All candidates are subject to thermal screening and any candidate with symptoms like cold, cough, fever etc. will not be allowed for an interview.
Essential Qualifications – Three-year B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture (PGDS) with a minimum of 60 percent marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
Desirable Qualifications – M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Botany / Applied Botany / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Genetics). Candidates with experience in molecular biology techniques will be preferred.
Emoluments – Rs. 15,000/ month (Consolidated)
