How to Apply:
- Applications are to be filled ONLINE. The online link for submission of the application is available from 29-09-2021 and the last date is 16-10-2021 by 5 PM.
- Candidates must fill online application form at www.niab.org.in. Candidates are advised to fill the online application form in sufficient time before the last date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
- Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email and interviewed by duly
constituted selection committee online. Original documents in support of date of birth,
educational qualifications, and experience certificates are required to be submitted at the time of joining. - No need to send a hard copy. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
For Post I
Fellowship amount: Rs.31000/- per month plus 24 percent HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines
Essential Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Tech in Life Sciences/M. V. Sc. etc.)
or, - Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) with NET qualification, (Non-NET-qualified candidates with a post-graduate degree in Life Sciences can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.)
For Post II
Fellowship amount: Rs.35000/- per month plus 24 percent HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines
Essential Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Tech in Life Sciences/M. V. Sc. etc.)
with two years of experience or, - Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology)
with NET qualification or, With 2 years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and technology organizations. (Non-NET-qualified candidates with a post-graduate degree in Life Sciences can also apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.)
Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in molecular biology, cell culture, cloning
of genes, expression and purification of proteins, generation of Monoclonal antibodies will be given preference.
