Applications are to be filled ONLINE. On-line weblink for submission of application is available from 17-06-2021 and the last date is 07-07-2021. Applicants should fill up an online application at www.niab.org.in. Candidates are advised to fill up the online application form in sufficient time prior to the last date to avoid last-minute technical issues. No need to send out a hard copy. Interim enquiries will not be entertained. Suitable applicants will be screened, intimated through email and interviewed by duly constituted selection committee online. Original documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, experience certifications are required to be submitted at the time of joining.

Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- PM +24% HRA = 31000/- PM according to the DST guidelines.

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Etc.) or Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Technology in Life Sciences, M.VSc. Etc.).

Experience: A candidate with prior experience in any one of the following area will be preferred.

1. Various molecular biology techniques, like RT-PCR, QRT-PCR, Immunohistochemistry, Immune cytochemistry, Droplet Digital PCR, protein purification and western blot analysis,
2. Generation of an expression vector by molecular cloning and its in-vitro characterisation, culture and maintenance of cell lines,
3. Generation of an expression vector for genome editing (knock-out and knock-in) using CRISP– Cas9 tools,
4. Regulation of gene expression by shRNA mediated knockdown,
5. Cell sorting by FACS/MACS, single-cell sorting and generation of cell lines,
6. Isolation and culture of Stem cells, transfection and maintenance of stem cells, generation of iPSC, isolation and culture of cells from different tissue sources,
7. Signal Transduction study by functional genomics.
8. Handling and experimentation on rodent and goat model
