The shortlisted applicants will receive an email confirmation which will also include the details of the online interview. Selected candidates will be engaged in INDO US TB projects as and when required.
Terms & Conditions:
- The validity of the shortlist will certainly be for one year from the date of publication as well as renewable accordingly.
- Qualification and experience should remain in a relevant discipline/field and from an
institute of repute. Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum
essential qualification. - Qualification, experience, other terms and conditions might be relaxed/altered at the
discretion of the project investigator. - Experience in tuberculosis research will be considered as the most desired qualification and the upper age limit may be relaxed based on experience in TB research.
- The posts are on a contract basis for an externally sponsored project, and no claim for any other regular post in JIPMER shall be entertained.
- Valid e-mail id, as well as mobile number, are obligatory.
- The consolidated salary of the post might vary every now and then. No other
allowance/facilities aside from consolidated salary will be extended. - The decision of the Principal Investigator will be final.
- No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Canvassing of any kind will certainly bring about disqualification.
- Submission of wrong or false info during the procedure of selection will
disqualify the candidature at any kind of phase. - If the performance of the appointee is not found satisfactory by the principal investigator, the appointment can be terminated at any time without prior notification.
- The appointee might request to be relieved from the job position by giving 30 days prior
notification or salary in lieu thereof
Essential Qualifications:
- PhD in any life sciences degree from a recognized university with a minimum of three years of research experience in research projects.
- Experience in molecular and immunological techniques.
- Minimum of two publications in Pubmed indexed journals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Helping and overseeing the day to day lab activities in the laboratory.
- Research and laboratory activities from time to time.
- Duties assigned by the PI, and other duties that arise from time to time.
- To provide subject-specific research expertise to, and undertake specific research work for the Principal Investigator (PI)
- Writing up results of research and contributing to publishing of results in high quality peer-reviewed academic literature.
- Conduct individual and collaborative research projects. Take a lead in the implementation and execution of the project.
Salary: Rs. 47,000 plus 16 per cent HRA
