Job Location: Work from Home / Bangalore
Basic Qualification & Eligibility:
- Candidates with BA or MA in Hindi, or have any Hindi certification with good command of English. OR
- Biotech & Life science candidates with good command in Hindi, English & scientific Terms/knowledge
Experience Required: 2 to 3 years
Salary: 2.5 Lac to 5 Lac per Annum (salary commensurate with experience) + Attractive incentives
Job Description:
- Convert text and audio recordings from one language to one or more others
- Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
- Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations
- Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of translation
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
- Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
- Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
- Network with field experts to stay current on new translation tools and practices
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role
- Fluency in at least two languages in addition to your native language
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Good knowledge of content editing tools
- Familiarity with translation software
Role and Responsibilities:
The Candidate will be responsible for handling all kinds of Translation, Editing Proofreading projects from English in any of the above-mentioned languages in different domains. Handling interpretation assignment of their languages.
Key Skills:
- Hindi Typing
- Must know how to translate English to Hindi.
- Must have an interest in learning new translation tools.
- Must have a learning attitude, polite, generous, and can easily be adaptable to the company’s environment.
Who will be preferred: A candidate having Translation experience would be preferable
