Recruitment of one Research Associate (RA-1) under a SERB project at Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta

Name of the Project: “Exploring the Mechanism of Arsenic-Induced Neuro-inflammation and its Effect on Adult Hippocampal Neurogenesis: Possible Protection by Folic Acid Supplementation” (Sanction no. – File Number: CRG/2020/003159 dated 10.03.2021).
Duration: 03 years or termination of the Project, whichever is earlier (based on the availability of funds and also the satisfactory performance of the Associate).

Eligibility and Qualifications Required: PhD in Physiology/any branch of Life Science with at least 2 publications in high ranking peer-reviewed journals. The candidate should have hands-on experience in the cell as well as tissue culture techniques, animal handling, routine biochemical, immunological and molecular biology assays.
