NAME OF PROJECT: “Deciphering the regulation of PiwiL in Cancer Stem Cells”

AGE: Below 28 years as of May 20, 2021.
DURATION: 3 Years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier. The initial appointment will be for a duration of one year as well as extendable till termination of the project based upon performance evaluation on yearly basis.
Selection Procedure:

FELLOWSHIP: ₹ 31,000/- plus 16 percent HRA monthly for NET/GATE qualified applicants. For others, the emoluments will be according to DST/DBT guidelines.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- The applicant needs to have a consistent academic record with a first-class Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Zoology. Should have great communication skills.
- The applicant must have a minimum of 1-year of experience in mammalian cell culture.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- An applicant that has qualified National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET consisting of Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Grad Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ or National Level Exam conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies as well as Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Exam for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam/ Approved DST Inspire Fellowship etc are preferred.
- Candidates with great knowledge of Molecular Biology Techniques are preferred.
