Advertisement for the post of Technical Assistant under BioNEST-PU
Applications are invited for one position of Technical Assistant (totally on a short-term basis) for BioNEST at Panjab University (BN-PU), Chandigarh. The candidates will certainly be appointed originally for a duration of one year extendable for another year on the basis of evaluation after completion of the first year. The post is purely on a temporary basis as well as a co-terminus with the project. There will certainly be no financial liability on the part of the University, after the termination. of the project. The incumbent will have no claim whatsoever for the regularization of his/her services.

Essential Qualifications: (M.Sc./ M.Tech. in any type of subject of Life Sciences such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Microbial Biotechnology or any other related area etc.) with minimal 60% marks.
Desirable Qualifications: Preference shall be given to candidates with experience in handling independent project OR assisting an ongoing project.
Emoluments: Rs. 15,000 (fixed) per month with an increment of Rs. 2,000 (fixed) per annum.
