The Deemed-to-be-University status was conferred to ILBS
by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.The institute is inviting application for the entrance exam for PhD, PDCC, PGCC, Certificate courses and Fellowship for the academic session starting from 01st July 2021, based on the details given below:

(2)Non-NET qualified candidates – written test followed by interview/Departmental Assessment. Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Zoology, Microbiology) or a Professional degree (MBBS, Master Degree in Medical or Dental Sciences, M.Tech. The NET Qualified candidates are exempted from written examination and directly eligible to appear in Departmental Assessment Exam/Interview.
Duration of the Courses: Ph.D – 3-5 years duration
How to Apply: The General instructions regarding filling up online form, application fee and admission to the courses are detailed on the ILBS website (http://www.ilbs.in).
Application deadline: on or before 02.05.2021 (5:00 PM) The last date to apply online is extended to 09.05.2021.
Procedure for Admission:
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of all India entrance test. The Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts as detailed below. The general instructions regarding filling up online forms, application fee and admission to the courses are detailed on the website (http://www.ilbs.in).
Examination Schedule:
- Written Examination: 23.05.2021 (Sunday)
- Departmental Assessment: 24.05.2021 (Monday)
The courses shall commence from 01/07/2021.
