General Instructions:

“Empowering Individuals versus Hepatitis: The Empathy Project: The Project moneyed by Airports

Authority of India aims to produce awareness on Hepatitis B as well as C across India through maintained advocacy and also customized behaviour change communication for establishing as well as advertising positive behaviours for individuals with hepatitis and also their families.

1. All appointments under the project shall be on a “contract basis” for a period of one year and are further extendable based upon performance – subject to availability of financing and also project needs.
2. The applicant must satisfy him/herself with the eligibility conditions prior to applying. The above jobs are subject to change and also the Institute/project reserves the right whether to fill up any kind of post or increase the number of openings for any type of given post. No appeal will be entertained or accepted. It would not be obligatory on the part of the project/Institute to call for an Interview every applicant who has the essential qualification, as well as no representation in this regard, will certainly be entertained from any kind of applicant.
3. The effective date for reckoning the requisite qualification as well as experience and the top age limit will certainly be 30 May 2020.

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 75,000/-

Essential Qualification:

1. Masters in Life Sciences, Microbiology from a recognized institution with at least 3 years of experience.
2. Computer Skills viz. familiarity with word processing and also standard applications
3. Willingness to travel for project activities across India as per project requirements

Desirable Qualification:

1. Prior experience as well as familiarity with issues associated with viral hepatitis and/or other infectious diseases such as HIV, TB, etc.;
2. Prior experience in implementing health projects and/or engaging multiple stakeholders and also partners, consisting of international agencies;
3. Experience in working on issues associated with health care delivery and/or stigma and also discrimination and social empowerment;

Job Description:

Under the overall supervision and technical guidance of the Nodal officer for the project, the project officer, will be responsible to:

1. Identify key stakeholder organizations and individuals working for hepatitis in India & enrol them into the project network through strategic communication
2. Identify thematic areas of the project for research & undertake studies pertaining to project activities for assessing as well as documenting project impact
3. Meet the assigned project targets and also project objectives
4. Participate in the development of communication package as well as advocacy material under the project
5. Provide technological & operational support for planning and also implementation of project
6. Aid the nodal officer in managing all public relations and also communications for the Project
7. Undertake project analytics in close coordination with the project team and also prepare project reports;
8. Assist the nodal officer in ability structure of the project team
9. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the nodal officer
