Online applications are welcomed from eligible applicants for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the SERB funded research project titled “Genetic Diversity of Nontuberculous Mycobacteria in Central India: Rapid Identification and Differentiation of Mycobacterium species by PCR-restriction enzyme analysis – hsp6gene and 16S-23S ITS region of rDNA”. Age Limitation: Upper age limit 28 years on the date of interview.
Period: Tenure of the Junior Research Fellow post is till 28 Jan 2022. (If Project is extended by the funding agency, the Period will certainly additionally be extended depending upon fund availability).
Mode of Selection: Selection of the applicant will be done by personal interview. No TA/DA will be provided for this interview.
Date of Interview: 13-05-2021. Candidates should report at the Department of Microbiology, AIIMS Bhopal Medical College latest at 10:00 am on the day of the interview.
Keep in mind: Applicants are required to bring the self-attested copies of qualifying degree, age proof (Class X certification), 1 passport size photograph, and documents supporting their claim of experience, thesis, training, publication or conference presentation. In case the candidate has published peer-reviewed article (s), PUBMED ID and the first page of the article( s) should be presented at the time of document screening. The chosen applicant will need to provide original documents for the verification at the time of joining, failing which the offer will stand terminated.
Emolument: Rs. 31,000/- plus 16 percent HRA, based on guidelines of SERB, DST New Delhi.
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc Biotechnology/ M.Sc Microbiology/ M.Sc Biochemistry/ M.Sc Life Sciences with at least 60% marks.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience: Expertise in TB culture and Molecular Biology techniques such as nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RFLP.
