Update about revised email id for submission of JRF applications and extension of last date of application
This is to inform you that, the email id for submission of the JRF application has been changed due to security issues. All the candidates who have applied until today, 08.03.2021 need to resubmit their application to the revised email id, i.e., [email protected].
Applications sent to [email protected] will not be considered and candidates should submit their applications only to [email protected].
Consequently, the last date for submission of applications has been extended to 15.03.2021, 6.00 pm.
Applications submitted beyond this time and date will not be considered.Online interview date and time remains the same, i.e., 18.03.2021, 11.00 am.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
Interview Notice for the position of JRF
Applications are invited in the prescribed format (Annexure-1) for the position of junior research fellow (JRF) (01 no.) on a purely contractual basis (for the period of 01 years initially which would be extended by another 01 years based upon satisfactory performance) to work in the externally funded ( DST Haryana) research project:

How to Apply:
➢ Interested candidates are requested to appear for the interview (online) on 18.03.2021 at 11.00 am.
➢ Eligible applicants will certainly be informed through the mail and also on-line interview link shall be shared one day prior to the interview. No correspondence will be done with Non-eligible applicants. No TA/DA shall be paid as well as no separate call letters will certainly be sent for attending the interview.
➢ It is advised that the advanced application shall be sent in the given format (Annexure I) in soft copy (PDF format– Annexure I and all supporting documents– Make Single PDF file) to [email protected] latest by 13.03.2021 by 06.00 pm. The last date for submission of applications has been extended to 15.03.2021, 6.00 pm. Applications submitted beyond this time and date will not be considered.
➢ The attested copies of the certifications as well as testimonials should also be attached with the application.
➢ Selected Applicants must bring in a print out of the application form with documents in duplicate and ALL original certifications for verification at the time of joining.
➢ Candidates are advised to keep visiting the NIFTEM website for any change in date/time of the interview; no separate letters/communication will be issued, if the date/time changes.
➢ The decision of the NIFTEM administration with respect to all matters shall be final and also binding.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 31000/- plus HRA (at 08 percent).
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s degree with 60% marks in the area of Biochemistry/Food Technology/ Food Science/Microbiology ONLY need to apply.
- The candidate should have qualified NET (UGC/CSIR/ICAR) and/or GATE.
- Candidates with experience in Probiotics/Fermentation and also laboratory animal
handling & experimentation/prior work in these areas will certainly be favoured.
