Brief about NIAB: NIAB, is an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Applications are welcomed from qualified candidates to fill up the following contract position for 1 year (likely to be continued) for the Transgenic facility at NIAB.

Terms & Conditions:
The appointment will be made on contract for a duration of one year with an initial probation duration of 6 months. The contract may be likely to be extended.
All educational, professional as well as technical qualification needs to be from a recognized Board/University.
The experience requirement specified above will be the experience acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualifications specified for the post.
The closing date of application will be the CRUCIAL DATE for determining eligibility with regard to age, essential qualification etc.
In case a large number of applications are received, in house screening will certainly be done to limit the number of applicants to those possessing higher/relevant qualification and also experience. The screening committee’s decision will certainly be final and can not be challenged.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs. Up to 40,000/- Consolidated.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Biomedical Science as one of the subjects with one year experience in the embryo or cell culture, laboratory animal breeding and maintenance.
