Title of the Project: Selection and Prioritisation of Antiviral Drugs used for Hepatitis C Virus HCV and evaluation of their efficacy and safety in COVID-19 Patients: A Rational target based Pilot Repurposing Trial
Age: 35 years
Duration: The engagement will be originally for six months, which may be extended or curtailed depending upon the period of the tenure of the sponsored project as well as/ or performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be totally short-term and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise, as well as shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any type of CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.

Emoluments: Rs. 55000/- plus HRA
Job requirement:
- Screening of FDA approved drug and metabolites against key targets of SARS-Co V-2.
- Coordinating in vitro evaluation of selected drug combinations against SARS- CoV-2 infection
Qualifications:
- Essential: Doctorate degree in Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Bioinformatics with a minimum of three years of post-doctoral research experience in the area of protein biology.
- Desirable experience if any: Candidate with a strong background in protein-drug
interactions using various bioinformatics, biophysical and biochemical method will be preferred. Desired experience should be evidenced through the published research articles as lead author.
