The National Institute of Biomedical Genomics invites an innovative young mind with
a passion to work in a project of high clinical impact. This position is contractual, and also appointment will certainly be originally given as per the tenure of the project, extendable depending upon performance as well as requirements of the project.
The decision of NIBMG in all matters associating with eligibility, acceptance or rejection of
application, mode of selection, and conduct of interviews will be final as well as binding on the applicants. In exceptionally meritorious cases, the eligibility requirements may be relaxed by the competent authority.

Project Name: A diagnostic panel for rapid detection of early onset sepsis in high-risk neonates
Project Description: The goal of this project is to develop a method for rapid detection of
sepsis and anti-microbial resistance in high-risk children.How to Apply:

Essential Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification OR Graduate degree in professional course with NET qualification OR Postgraduate degree in Professional Course.
- Two years of research experience.
- Experience in working in a molecular biology, biochemistry, or microbiology lab.
Desirable Qualification:
Prior experience in.
- the field of sepsis,
- handling clinical samples.
Nature of Duty:
Handling clinical biospecimens; standardization of molecular assays for detection of pathogens as well as antimicrobial resistance; analysis of clinical and lab data.
