How to Apply for NDRI Job:
The interested/eligible candidates need to comply with the following terms and conditions:
Age Limit for the above positions:
- 40 years for Men as well as 45 years for women in case of RA & RA-I on the date of.
Interview. - 35 years for Men as well as 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of the Interview.
- Thirty years for Men and 35 years for Women in the case of JRF on the date of the Interview.
- 21 to 30 years on the date of Interview for Project Assistant.
- 18-45 years on the date of Interview for Office Assistant.
- (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as well as PHC as per GOI/ICAR guidelines).
The above positions are purely short-term and will certainly be completed on a Contractual basis. The selected applicant will have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement is co-terminus with the Project/Scheme. Interested candidates might attend Walk-in-Interview on the dates & time as indicated against each project/scheme along with original certificates as well as typed biodata with one set of attested duplicates of each of their certifications with passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. An only Indian citizen will be eligible to attend the Walk-In-Interview.
All eligible applicants are advised to be present at the very least thirty minutes before the scheduled time on the date of the interview for completing necessary formalities. No entry/registration after 10:30 A.M. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the applicants.
In case of any type of disputes, it will certainly be resolved within the jurisdiction of Karnal Court only.
The decision of the Director, ICAR-NDRI Karnal will certainly be final and also binding in all aspects.

- According To ICAR OM No. Agril Edn.6/ 27/2014-HRD dated 9th October 2015, the PhD degree holders in the pertinent discipline are eligible for RAs/ SRFs/ JRF.

Essential Qualifications for NDRI Job:
- Master Degree in General Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with specialization in
Microbiology with 4years/5years of Bachelors Degree. - Candidates having post graduate degree in above-mentioned subjects with 3 years bachelor degree and 2 years of master degree should have the NET qualification and 02 years of research experience in the relevant field.
Desirable Qualifications for NDRI Job:
- Preference will be given to candidates having a PhD degree and having experience
in handling pathogens in a bio-safety laboratory, development of biosensor and analytical work on microbiological quality parameters, drug residues, pesticide residues, aflatoxin etc. - Working experience in NABL accredited laboratory/good knowledge of statistics and
proficiency in computer application, particularly in the use of MS office and FMS/MIS software.
