Microbiology Section— Ensure effective functioning of Microbiology Lab by carrying
out analysis according to the priorities.

• Planning and work allocation for Microbiological activity, if needed
• Guarantee the compliance to cGMP regulations, quality guidelines and also local SOPs.
• Guarantee online documentation.
• Planning and execution of Microbiological activities according to schedule.
• Reviewing of all microbiological activities in the microbiology laboratory.
• Responsible for handling of Lab incidents, Deviation, OOS as well as Change control.
• Microbiological testing of the finished product, starting material, water sample analysis as well as environmental monitoring.
• Microbiological media prep work and its GPT.
• Daily monitoring of room & refrigerator temperatures, software for incubators.
• Microbiological monitoring of classified areas.
• Bacterial culture maintenance as well as keeping records of consumption of ATCC/NCTC cultures.
• Register, Logbook entries and also review.
• Analysis of water samples for microbiological parameters.
• Analysis of compressed gas and nitrogen gas.
• Preparation and reviewing of GMP documents such as SOPs, Qualification protocols and reports.
• Report all deviations, which may have an impact on safety, identity, strength, purity & quality of drug substance/ product.
• Issuance of QC analytical data sheets
• Execution of Analytical Method Validation of Microbial tests.
• Trending & review of microbial analytical data for water samples, RM, FG samples.
• To prepare and also update the Testing procedures and Specs and also associated documents.
• To comply with Internal and also external audit observations.
• Monitoring the calibration/ validation planner for Instruments/ Equipment in micro Laboratory.
• Preparation and destruction of Medias.
• Prep work of Microbial inoculum and also growth promo test.
• To perform safe Laboratory operations (according to MSDS) guaranteeing proper usage of PPEs
• To determine internal as well as external QEHS issues along with needs and also expectations of relevant interested parties and also monitor the same.
• To implement QEHS policy & objectives.
• To ensure participation and also consultation of the worker.
• To identify & communicate incidents, QEHS non-conformities, investigate and take corrective actions on the same.
• To ensure the work permit system during maintenance activities.
• To implement QEHS continual improvement projects at site and also monitor.
• To ensure disposal of waste.

Qualifications: Masters in Science (Micro Biology).
