Title of the Project: Multiplexed Lateral-flow Device(s) for Detection of COVID-19

Age: * Upper age limitation is 35 years

* Age limit for Project Associate I is 35 years with five years relaxation for statutory groups and women

Duration: The engagement will be originally for six months, which may be extended or curtailed depending upon the period of the tenure of the sponsored project as well

as/ or performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be totally short-term and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise, as well as shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any type of CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.

The prescribed educational qualifications are a bare minimum and merely possessing exact same will certainly not entitle applicants to be called for interview. Emoluments: Rs 31,000/- plus HRA

Job requirement: Heterologous protein expression and also purification. Screening of bio-ligands against SARS-COVID19 proteins Development of bioassays, as well as ELISA for rapid detection of SARS-CoV2.

Qualifications:

• Essential: M.Sc in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Virology or
  any branch of life sciences from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks (aggregate) or equivalent CGPA.
  
• Desirable experience if any: Preference will be given to candidates qualified in
  National Eligibility Test or GATE exams and also experience in molecular biology techniques, biochemical assay development, cloning, heterologous protein expression as well as purification.
