Applications are invited to appear before the selection committee in the online interview for filling up the purely temporary positions of (1) one Research Associate-III (RA-III) as well as (2) One Research Associate-I (RA-I) in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship/Post-Doctorate Fellowship” program of the Institute under the supervision of Prof. Asis Datta, Distinguished Emeritus Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the positions are as under:
How to Apply:
The Fellowship amount for the above positions is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above positions are entirely on a temporary basis as well as co-terminus with the Scheme. The initial appointment will certainly be for a duration of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based upon the performance of the candidate as well as discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to choose the candidate against the above posts depending
upon the qualifications and experience of the applicant. Reservation of posts will be as per Govt. of India norms. The position might be ended any time by giving a month notification by either side. The candidates will certainly have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.The applicants need to ascertain their eligibility before applying. Name of Position: Research Associate-III (RA-III) 01 post
Eligibility: Applicants having a PhD degree in Life Sciences (Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Physiology) with a good academic record (i.e. overall 55% marks throughout the academic career) and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience and also published research papers in journals of international repute are eligible to apply. The applicant with previous experience of working with transgenic plants is desirable.

Eligibility: Candidates having a Ph. D. Degree in Life Sciences with a good academic record (i.e. overall 55% marks throughout the academic career) and also at the very least one year of relevant work experience as well as published research papers in the journals of International repute are eligible to apply. Experience of working with Candida albicans, Molecular Biology as well as Proteomics is desirable.
