Project Name: Impaired quality control of Connexin43 and decreased astrocyte gap junctional communication in a mouse hepatitis virus induced model of human neurological disease multiple sclerosis.
Duration: Period of the post will initially be for one year but likely to be extendable for 2 even more years based on the performance of the candidate and availability of funds.
Age Limit: 32 years.

Essential qualification: M.Sc in any type of branch of Biological Sciences from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable qualification: 2 years post M.Sc research experience of working in a cell and also molecular biology lab. Preference will certainly be provided to candidates with publications in international standard clinical journals. Candidates with animal handling abilities will be favoured. Basic knowledge of using computers for record-keeping as well as data analysis is required.
Salary: 14,000/- per month (consolidated).
