How to Apply:
- Age limitation: Maximum age 35 years for SRF and Field Assistant (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
- The post is purely temporary and will be filled up on contractual basis originally for approximately 31-03-2021, which might be extended periodically based on performance until the termination of the project.
- The interested applicants will submit their application in the enclosed proforma along with a self-attested scanned copy of the original documents of their educational qualifications from 10th onwards, Date of Birth Certification, Net or equivalent (if applicable), caste certification etc in addition to the scanned photo at the appropriate place on the proforma to the e-mail addresses [email protected] as given below latest by September 8th, 2020 5 PM.
- After screening the applications, the top twenty eligible applicants meeting the essential as well as desirable qualifications will certainly be informed regarding the details of the online interview by email. Original documents will certainly be verified at the time of appointment. - The selected applicant will not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminous with the project.

- No Net Charges/TA/DA/ will be paid for attending the interview.

Salary: Rs. 31000 per month plus 24 percent HRA
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant
Breeding/Seed Science/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with specialization in plant
sciences as evidenced by dissertation work/Biotechnology with specialization in plant sciences with 4 years bachelors degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have
UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or PhD/ M.Tech in any of the above disciplines.
Desirable Experience: Experience in molecular marker techniques and Rice reproducing.
For Post II
Salary: Rs. 31000 per month plus 24 percent HRA
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Agriculture with specialization in Genetics/
Plant Breeding/ Genetics as well as Plant Breeding/ Seed Science and also technology/ M.Tech in any of the above disciplines or PhD in Life Sciences with specialization in plant sciences as evidenced by dissertation work.
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in maize breeding.
- Knowledge of molecular tools as well as techniques and computer abilities.

Salary: Rs. 31000 per month plus 24 percent HRA
