Name of the Project: “Center for Excellence in Inclusive Technology Interventions for Tribal Heritage Resilience of Kerala”
Age: Below 35 years as on June 30, 2020. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
Selection Procedure:

Emoluments: Rs. 35000/- +16% HRA each month.
(A) PROJECT ASSOCIATE -II (2 positions)
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE -II (POSITION 1)
Genetic profiling of traditional varieties of rice. This position will be at RGCB main campus, Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE -II (POSITION 1).
A First Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology or Biochemistry and 2 years documented appropriate experience (after Masters degree) in molecular biology (after Masters degree). Candidates with a doctoral degree having expertise in molecular biology will get preference in the selection procedure.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE -II (POSITION 2)
Scientific validation of ethno-veterinary products/formulations. This position will be at RGCB main campus, Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE -II (POSITION 2)
A First Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology or Biochemistry or Pharmacology and 2 years relevant documented experience (after Masters degree) in phytochemistry, in vitro cellular assays, etc. Applicants with a doctoral degree having expertise in cell biology, in vitro and also in vivo assays will certainly get preference in the selection procedure.
(B) PROJECT ASSOCIATE -I (6 positions)
I. JOB DESCRIPTIONS PROJECT ASSOCIATE – I
1. JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE -I (POSITION 1)
Nutritional analysis as well as biochemical profiling of traditional varieties of rice. This position will be at the RGCB Main Campus at Thiruvananthapuram.
2. JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE -I (POSITIONS 2 & 3)
Documentation of traditional knowledge and Minor Forest Produce processing and also value addition to such products. This position will be at the RGCB Field Station at Idukki and/or Wayanad.
3. JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE -I (POSITION 4)
Development of essential oil extraction protocols as well as value addition to such products. This position will certainly be at the RGCB Field Station at Idukki and/or Wayanad.
II. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROJECT ASSOCIATE -I

- A First Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences or Biotechnology or Chemistry or Biochemistry (Job Description 2 to 3).
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in regional language (Malayalam).
