Job Purpose:
The incumbent will be part of the molecular biology team and also will certainly be in charge of carrying out lab activities relating to project requirements and also document them.
Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out routine molecular biology experiments assigned by the reporting manager.
- Precise documentation of the results.
- Reporting of results in written and/or presentation formats as and also when required.
- Good time management and also an organization for carrying out the assigned work.
- Contribution to inventory keeping, general lab maintenance as well as safety.
- Follow environment, health, as well as safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
- Attend training on environment, health, as well as safety (EHS) measures imparted company.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Tech Life Sciences or related discipline
Technical/functional Abilities:
- Basic Microbiological techniques
- PCR, RT-PCR, Plasmid Isolation, Site-directed Mutagenesis.
- RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis.
- Gene synthesis and cloning techniques.
- Knowledge of Basic bioinformatics tools.
- Handling of Molecular Biology analysis tools like Sequencher, Vector NTi etc.
- MS– Office skills
Experience: 3-6 years of experience post qualification.
Behaviour Skills:
- Must be well versed in spoken as well as written communication, ought to be a team player.
- Ought to be concentrated in the direction of results and deliverables.
- Should have a high moral framework (ethics code) as well as high data integrity sense.
