Job Description:
- Function as NMR Analyst
- Acquire a variety of multinuclear, 1D and also 2D NMR experiments.
- Interpretation of 1D as well as 2D NMR spectra of Organic molecules for structure confirmations.
- Effective prep work of Protocols and also Reports for the relevant studies.
- Develop Identification as well as quantification methods for small molecules by NMR.
- Perform ID and Quantification studies for small as well as large molecules on a routine basis.
- Meet all the compliances as well as documentation treatments at the NMR laboratory
- Aid in routine cryogen filling and day to day activities at NMR laboratory
- Meet all the requirements of the company safety, ethics and quality programmes
Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Biochemistry
- 3 to 5 years of Industrial/Academic experience
Mandatory requirements:
- A clear understanding of peptide/protein characterization making use of NMR spectroscopy.
- Knowledge of peptide/protein assignments making use of tools like SPARKY, CARA, etc.
- Need to understand setting up biomolecular NMR Experiments on Bruker operating system. (Water suppression, TOCSY, NOESY, ROESY, DOSY, HMBC, TROSY and basic 3D experiments).
Desirable requirements: Experience in peptide/protein biochemistry; working experience with SSNMR is desirable.
