Project Title: “Evaluation of LRRK2 11371V mutation on cellular pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease using patient specific induced pluripotent stem cells of Indian ethnicity”

The desirable experience for NIMHANS Job: Experience in pluripotent stem cell culture, primary dopaminergic neuronal cell culture, molecular biology as well as biochemistry will certainly be required.
Nature of Work: The project covers extensively on induced pluripotent stem cell culture, dopaminergic neuron differentiation, Live-cell imaging and flow cytometry techniques in detecting functional parameters (intracellular calcium, ROS etc.) of neuronal cells, protein and gene expression studies.
Salary: Rs. 35,000/- plus 24 percent HRA.
