Research Associate (06), Senior Research Fellow (01), Junior Research Fellow (02).

Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre invites applications from the interested deserving candidate for the post of RA (06) SRF (01) and JRF (02) positions in numerous research projects. For details of the projects post, essential qualification, fellowship is given below:

Terms & Conditions:

• The posts are simply temporary as well as will be filled up on contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months, which might be extended after satisfactory performance of the incumbent till termination of the project.
• There is no provision of re-engagement after the termination of the project.
• The chosen applicant shall not claim for a regular appointment, as the fellowship is co-terminus with the project.
• Maximum age on the last day of the application as per advertisement of the applicant is for JRF/SRF is 35 years and 45 years for RA.
• No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Last Date of Submission of Online Application: 09-07-2020 up to 13.00 Hrs.

Project Name: Technology Development for Streptokinase Production

Qualification:

1. Ph. D. in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/ Microbiology/Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/
   Chemistry/ Biochemistry or having 3 years of research and also design and development experience after M. Tech Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/ Microbiology/ Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/ Chemistry Biochemistry with a minimum of 1 research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal
   OR
2. M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/Microbiology/Pharmaceutical Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry with 3 years of experience in research, design as well as development with at least 1 research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Experience: Candidate needs to have research experience in proteomics/ protein isolation, purification, characterization, downstream processing, microbial fermentation, Chromatography, cloning and overexpression etc. with good research publication as.

   OR

RA I: RS. 36,000/- +HRA.

Qualification:

M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology or Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics) selected through a process described through any one of the following:

a. Scholars that are chosen through NET- CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership as well as GATE.
b. The selection process via National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and also their Agencies and Institution such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

And

Two years of research experience preferably in the area of microbiology/ bioinformatics/ genomics/ metagenomics/ Antimicrobial Resistance etc.
