Recruitment for Project Executive under NCS-TCP
Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is a company created by the initiative of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India and financed by All India Financial Institutions for facilitating commercialization of biotechnology. BCIL is managing the National Certification System for Tissue Culture Raised Plants (NCSTCP) in the country as the Management Cell since the inception of NCSTCP in the year 2006. Number of opening: 1 (one)
Age limit: Maximum 35 years
Nature of job: Tenurial post on contract for 2 years (extendable on an annual basis based on performance).

Job description:
Job profile includes assessing applications for recognition/renewal of recognition, assisting expert committee in preparing assessment reports during site visits, coordination with various stakeholders, prep work of technical documents/SOPs, writing contents for NCS-TCP website, frequent travelling for extensive website visits to outskirt area across the.
country, organizing meeting and also preparing agenda/minutes etc.
Qualification: M.Sc/ M.Tech in Life Sciences preferably specialization in Plant Sciences.
or Plant Biotechnology.
Desirable skills: Candidates need to be proficient with MS Office particularly Word, Excel.
and PowerPoint. He/she must have excellent communication and also writing abilities in English.
Experience: Minimum 2years of experience in the area of plant tissue culture, plant.
virus testing or any other quality testing laboratory.
The scale of pay: 11500-800-19500-1000-29500.
Gross remuneration would be approximately Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- monthly depending upon relevant qualification as well as experience. Gross remuneration would include House Rent Allowance, Medical allowance, Conveyance allowance, Mediclaim Insurance, Contributory Provident Fund and Gratuity.
