Online applications are invited from the candidates willing to work in mission mode for engagement on contractual basis for a duration of 6 months in the following positions under NHM, Assam. Applicants need to apply on-line in the NHM, Assam website: https://nhm.assam.gov.in.

Name of the Post: Research Scientist (At Medical Colleges)
No. of Posts: 14 nos. @ 2 in each Medical College
Age: Up to 44 Years
as on 1st April 2020 (Relaxable for suitable candidates).How to Apply:

The schedule of interview/ selection test for the respective post will certainly be published in the website https://nhm.assam.gov.in in due course of time along with the list of provisionally shortlisted applicants. All applicants are advised to visit the website accordingly. No separate individual call letter for interview/ selection test will certainly be sent. No TA/DA will certainly be paid for attending the interview/ selection test.
Remuneration per month: Rs.50,000/-
Essential Qualifications:
- First Class Master’s Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology with 4 years of experience preferred.
Or - 2nd Class Master’s Degree + PhD Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology with 4 years experience preferred.
Desirable Qualification:
- Doctorate degree or M.Tech degree in relevant subject or engineering subject from a recognized university for applicants with a first-class relevant degree.
- Extra Post Doctoral Research/ Training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute( s).
- Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/ Data Management.
