Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellow

Project Title: “Study on methylation patterns under drought stress for identification
of key genes and microRNAs involved in drought stress tolerance in chickpea”
Age Limitation: 35 years max. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and woman candidates as per SERB regulations).
Period: The post is totally short-term in nature as well as is co-terminus with the project.
How to Apply:
The interview will certainly be held on 1st June 2020 at 10 am at NIPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012. The candidates need to bring 4 copies of biodata, original certifications, attested xeroxes of each of the certificates and also an attested copy of recent passport size photograph. No TA/DA would be offered for the appearance in the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
Emoluments (each month): Rs. 31000/- plus HRA (as per rules)
Essential qualifications: Master’s degree with 60% marks in Plant Molecular Biology/
Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life science/ Plant Pathology with NET/GATE qualification chosen via a process described in SERB Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SB/S9/Z -06/ 2019 (Dated: 23rd April, 2019).
Desirable: Working Experience in Molecular Biology Techniques, Bioinformatic tools, prior
exposure of working on chickpea, area of transcriptomics and also expression analysis.
