1. What is the eligibility requirements for Project Training?

The Institute provides opportunities for outstanding students to carry out project work under the guidance of the Institute’s Scientists towards partial fulfilment of their postgraduate degree (of at the very least Six Months duration Session I- January-June and Session II-July-December). The minimal eligibility criterion for consideration of the requests is Ist Division or an equivalent grade (or a minimum of 60% of aggregate scores) in all major assessments

Students who are pursuing a master’s degree (e.g. M.Sc., M.Tech., M.Pharm, M.V.Sc. as well as Integrated Master’s students in 4th year etc.) may apply.

2. What are the essential items needed for finishing the on-line application for Project Training Programme – January to June as well as July to December?

Please have the following items all set and also handy–

a) A legitimate email address, an active mobile phone, as well as an active internet connection.

3. What is the duration for applying the Training?

Applications for January-June slot will be accepted only from 15th September to 15th October yearly and also only selected students will be informed by 31st October. Applications for July-December slot will be accepted only from 15th March to 15th April each year as well as only chosen candidates will be informed by 30th April. Late applications will not be taken into consideration.

4. I am B.Tech./ B.Sc./ B.Pharm. student. Am I qualified for applying the Six months of project training?

6. Can I modify my information after submission?

Once sent, no part of the application can be modified. Candidates are advised to maintain accuracy of information while applying and recheck before sending on-line application.

7. I have by mistake entered incorrect data in my application. Can I correct it?

The candidates are advised to verify their data entered by them prior to the conclusion of the application form. Once it is sent, the data duly filled up can not be changed. If there is any significant correction in the application form, the candidate is advised to apply afresh. In case of any difficulty in filling out a fresh application might write to us at [email protected].

8. Is the Institute provide any type of financial aid i.e. stipend and also accommodation facilities.

No, Institute will not provide any kind of financial aid or accommodation facilitates in NII Campus.

9. How do I know the info concerning the selection of training?

Institute will intimate the selected applicants for training individually with e.mail.

10. Is there any type of fee charges by NII?

No, Institute will not charge any kind of fee for the training.

11. Is there any fee for submission of on-line application?

No fee is required.

12. How many students intake in each session?

It relies on the requirement of Project Investigator.
