CSIR NET Online Computer Based Exam From Dec 2019

CSIR NET exam will now be conducted Online. Yes, you heard it right! CSIR NET Exam will now be an Online Computer Based Exam.

In a revolutionary announcement made by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), India – CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted twice a year in June & December will now be a Computer based test with effect from CSIR NET December 2019 Exam. This implies that a lot of changes will be implemented from the CSIR NET exam to be conducted in December this year. The official notification released by CSIR can be seen below:

“The Joint CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility (LS) conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) will be conducted on CBT (Computer Based Test) mode from December 2019 exam.”

Further details are expected to be released in upcoming days. It will be interesting to see what all new changes will be implemented in the CBT based CSIR NET exam. Will the exam pattern change? What will be the scoring system? Will the time duration of the exam be the same? How the CSIR NET exam results will be declared now?

  1. Good move. Moreover CSIR UGC NET FOR JRF & LS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED PAN INDIA at more and more centres. Especially in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai Mumbai Metropolitan Region. So that Mumbai students won’t have to rush to Pune for giving this important exam
