Applications are invited from highly motivated students for admission to the integrated PhD programme (iPhD) starting from 1st August 2019 at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM)
School: Biology
Eligibility Criteria:
Admission Streams: IISER TVM Test-2019, JGEEBILS-2019, JAM-BL-2019 and JAM-BT-2019
Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Chemical/Physical/ Mathematical Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks (or a CGPA of 6.0 in the 10-point scale) for General/OBC-NCL applicants and also a minimum of 50% marks (or a CGPA of 5.5 at the 10-point scale) to get SC/ST and PwD applicants.
Candidate should be eligible for any one (or more) of these examinations:
- IISER TVM Test-2019
- JGEEBILS 2019
- JAM 2019 – BL
- JAM 2019 – BT
Candidates shortlisted from some of the above-mentioned streams will be asked to appear for an interview(s).

General Information:
- Pupils appearing in the last year Bachelor degree exam are also eligible to apply. But if chosen, their admission will be subjected to fulfilling the minimum eligibility standards for your individual school.
- Please go through the Instructions carefully before filling up the application form.
- Applicants must complete the online application form at the following URL: http://appserv.iisertvm.ac.in/iphd/
- Only online applications are approved.
- Applicants are also prompted to upload required supporting documents, such as picture, proof of date of birth, mark sheet/grade transcript, community certification etc. in JPEG format only.

- On submission of the online application form, the candidates will receive an acknowledgement email with an application number.
- Candidates who wish to apply to individual/different schools through different streams (JGEEBILS, JAM, NBHM-MA/MSc, JEST & IISER test) have to fill separate application forms, and separate fee needs to be paid for every application.
- Short-listed applicants will be invited for a written test/interview in IISER TVM.
- The venue for interviews [ALL Streams]: IISER – Thiruvananthapuram, Maruthamala PO, Vithura, Thiruvananthapuram – 695551, Kerala, India.
- Normal relaxation to the eligibility standards will be applicable according to the government of India guidelines.
