Admission for the PhD programme at RMRIMS for the Academic Year 2019 for University of Calcutta, Kolkata.
ICMR-Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (ICMR-RMRIMS) is holding pre PhD registration evaluation on 27th April 2019 for interested applicants who must work at RMRIMS and get registered for PhD from Calcutta Univ. The RMRIMS has been affiliated with Univ. Of Calcutta and T. M. Bhagalpur Univ. for PhD registration and award of Degree. The Institute encompasses research on broad interdisciplinary areas of (1) Biochemistry, (2) Biostatistics, (3) Bioinformatics and Drug Discovery, (4 ) Entomology, (6 ) Epidemiology, (5 ) Immunology, (6 ) Microbiology, (9) Molecular Biology, (10) Cell Biology at. The candidate qualified eligibility evaluation for JRF at CSIR/DBT/ICMR or using DST inspire fellowship is exempted from the written test. Minimum Qualification:
A. Students with 55% or above marks in Minimum essential qualification (M. B. B. S.* or M.Sc/ M.Tech/ M. Pharm. *The candidate with M.B.B.S. degree should have two Publications as first/corresponding author in peer-reviewed International journals of the relevant discipline before registration.
Selection Procedure:
A. Candidates fulfilling minimal requirements Will be invited for a written qualifying exam at their own expenses on 27th April 2019 at RMRIMS, Patna.
B. The written exam (100 marks aim type) Is targeted at assessing their knowledge in the various field, abilities to understand, analyze and reason based on the given syllabus (on the website).
C. The result of qualified applicants will be On the site of this Institute/ICMR in addition to the notice board of the Institute. Passed candidates will be called for interview.
D. The selected candidate will be enrolled for the PhD programme of RMRIMS, in academic affiliation with the University of Calcutta.
E Reservations according to statutory standards.
PhD Programme:
No stipend will be provided to the passed Candidates from the Institute; however, preference will be given if any project comes to the Institute. Additionally, students will be appreciated to manage their own fellowship. Hostel lodging will be provided to both boys and women pupil subject to the availability.

B. Final printout of this application Ought to Be sent By post to”The Director, ICMR-Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Agamkuan, Patna 800007, India” along with following:
a. Each page of this application form and documents (accept demand draft) ought to be signed by the candidate.
b. The completed application must be accompanied by the crossed demand draft for Rs. 500/of six months validity in favour of Director RMRIMS, Patna, payable at Patna. A demand draft for 200/is acceptable from SC/ST candidate, provided relevant documentary proof is included. The drafts aren’t refundable.
c. Self-attested copies of the certificates or mark sheets ought to be enclosed with the application. SC/ST/OBC (Govt. Of India) ought to be attached for relaxation/reservation.
d. Two recent passport size photos should be included. One of them ought to be signed by the candidate and glued on the application type.
