School of Biological Sciences Summer Research Scholarships 2017-2018

Further information about the SBS Summer Research Scholarships:
The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) offers Summer Research Scholarships to be taken up in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, Department of Genetics and Evolution or Department of Ecology and Environmental Science. These scholarships are valued at $200 per week for a 6 week period of study, to be taken up over the summer break. The 6 week period can be split before and after the Christmas close-down if desired, but will need to be negotiated directly with your supervisor.
Preference for SBS Scholarships will be given to students who are currently enrolled in second year courses in the Department to which they are applying.
Students who have held SBS Summer Scholarships previously will not be eligible although they can still apply for the Adelaide Summer Research Scholarships for research to be carried out in any of the Departments listed above. International students must show a current visa allowing work in Australia.
Students can apply for several scholarships, including the University of Adelaide vacation scholarship and the SBS Summer Scholarship, but may only hold one if successful.
Adelaide Summer Research Scholarships
Summer Research Scholarships are available at the University of Adelaide in 2017-2018. The purpose of the scholarships is to encourage undergraduate students to consider undertaking postgraduate study at the University of Adelaide leading to a career involving research
