Position 1
Job Title : Facility Assistant-Next Generation Genomics Facility (NGGF)
JOB PROFILE : The Next Generation Genomics Facility (NGGF) at the Bangalore Life Science Cluster (BLiSc) has an opening for a Facility Assistant. The job responsibilities for the position include (1) Next Generation Sequencing library preparation (2) Provide training to new users (students and other researchers of BLiSc) in NGS library preparation, data collection on Bioanalyzer and qubit.
NO. OF POSITIONS : One (1)
Qualifications and Experience : The candidate is expected to have M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Life sciences or equivalent and at least 1 or 2 years of hands
on experience in Next Generation Sequencing library preparation and Bioanalyzer. It is essential that a candidate is a well-organized individual with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.How to Apply :

Qualifications and Experience:
The candidate is expected to have B.Sc. in Life sciences. A basic knowledge of Genetics is required. An exposure or experience with Drosophila melanogaster as a model system is preferable although not mandatory. It is essential that a candidate is a well-organized individual with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. He / She should have good analytical skills and willing to work in a team
