WALK IN INTERVIEW FOR JRF AND RA
Defence Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) situated at Leh-Ladakh (J&K) is a frontier institute of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) that endeavors at providing nutrition, health and energy security for the troops through development of cold arid agro-animal technologies and herbal prophylactics. The institute requires 02 Junior Research Fellows and 01 Research Associate in the following disciplines.
Position 1 : Research Associate (01)
Eligiblity : M.Sc first class and Ph. D. degree in Plant Pathology/ Microbiology/ Plant Protection. Desirable qualification: Experience on handling -of fungal/bacterial disease of agricultural crops.
Position 2 : Junior Research Fellows (02) :
Eligiblity : First class M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture I Vegetable Science/ Plant, Breeding & Genetics / Botany/ Zoology/ Vet Sciences/ Bio- Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Plant Pathology/ Agriculture Entomology/Plant Protection with NET/GATE or equivalent qualified are eligible to attend the interview.
Age : The maximum age for Research Associate is 35 years and for Junior Research Fellows is 28 years as on date of interview (relaxable 5 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates).
The fellowship will be governed by DRDO regulations.

Time : from 1000 hrs onwards at DHAR Base Lab Chandigarh, Near 3 BRO, Industrial Area, Phase-II, Chandigarh (Tele No. 0172- 2638900).
Interested candidates are required to submit their Bio-data with photograph along with attested cop es of the mark sheets (matriculation onwards) and certificates on reporting at the venue and to produce original documents at the time of interview. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease without assigning any reason.
It may please be noted that offer of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right for absorption in DRDO. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
