A Walk-in-Interview for filling up of the following posts in the Viral Research Diagnostic Laboratory of Jorhat Medical College, Jorhat will be held at the office of the undersigned on 3rd February, 2017 from 10:00 AM onwards. The posts are purely temporary and will be terminated on completion of the project. Intending candidate having requisite qualification may report to the Selection Committee along with the enclosed application duly filled-in, all original documents, 2 (two) nos. recent passport size photographs and a set of self-attested copies of certificates and other testimonials. The Advertisement may also be seen in institute website www.jmch.org.in
No TA /DA is admissible for attending the interview.

Fixed Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 33,306/-
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1st class Master’s degree in Microbiology / Life Sciences / Biotechnology from a
recognized university Or 2nd class M. Sc. + Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
i. Additional Post doctoral research
/ training experience in relevant subjects inrelevant subjects in recognized institute(s) / University.
ii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data
Management
iii. Two years R&D / Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining
essential qualification.
NOTES:
- Ph.D. degree in relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to three years
experience. - Candidates with work experience in Virology Laboratory shall be given preference for the above 2 (two) nos. posts.
- Reservation – as per prevailing govt. norms.
