Applications are invited for the Post of Research Assistant (RA) for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) (Sanction Order No.BIC/Adhoc/P-9/2016-2017 dated 14.12.2016), Government of India funded research project in Bioinformatics/Systems Biology in the School of Bio-sciences and Technology (SBST).
Title of the Project: “In-silico gene and protein network analysis of β-lactamases”.
Qualification: M.Tech / M.Sc / MS in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Bio-chemistry / Life sciences with good academic record.
Desirable: Candidate should have working experience in the field of gene/protein networks (Systems Biology) and present evidence in the form of publications in peer reviewed journals of repute.
Note: Selected candidate will have the opportunity to register for PhD in VIT University.
Stipend: Rs.31,000/- month (consolidated)
Sponsoring Agency: ICMR, Government of India.
