The Walk-in-Interview for appointing two Guest Faculty, Assistant Professor (purely on temporary basis) to teach M.Sc. (Human Genomics) will be held on 8th February, 2017 in the Department cum National Centre for Human Genome Studies and Research, Panjab University, Chandigarh, as per schedule given below:

• Documents Verification : 01:30 p.m. to 02:30 p.m.
• Interview : 03:00 p.m.

Essential Qualifications : Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for
SC/ST/Physically Handicapped) or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s Degree level i.e. M.Sc. in Human Genomics/Human
Genetics/Biochemistry/Genetics/Life Sciences from an Indian university or an equivalent
degree from an accredited foreign University.

Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified NET conducted by UGC, CSIR.

Desirable Qualifications: Teaching experience in area of Molecular Biology/Cell Biology/Genomics/Proteomics

The candidates must bring their Bio-data (6 Photostat copies) with original and one set of attested copies of certificates at the time of interview. Selected candidates shall be teaching the course content as mentioned in M.Sc. Human Genomics syllabus.
