Job Title : TECHNICAL OFFICER for SRL
Salary : Appointment is purely on Contractual basis, against a contractual consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25000/-(Twenty Five Thousand Only) only per month.
As per Reservation Act, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL – Reservation Roster i.e 100 Point. Roster will not be applied to single post cadre.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
Essential : M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology /Biotechnology /Life science
Desirable Experience :
- Minimum Two year experience in a Medical Microbiology /Immunological Laboratory Techniques
- Candidates with experience in quality assurance will be preferred
How to Apply :
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates by the Principal, R G Kar Medical College & Hospital for the post of TECHNICAL OFFICER for SRL(under NACO, Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India) in the Dept. of Microbiology, RGKMCH. The duly filled in application form is required to be dropped in the drop Box kept in 2nd floor of Platinum Jubilee Building near Principal’s Chamber on all working days from 10.00 A.M to 3.00 P.M , The last date of submission of complete application along with photocopy of supportive documents [such as age proof, address proof, caste
proof(in case of SC/ST/OBC), photocopy of self-attested mark sheet & certificates] is 05-01-2017 up Lo 2.00 P.M.The selection is based on a written examination 170 marks) followed by an Interview 110 marks) including written test related to Computer knowledge 120 marks). Written test will be conducted on 17.01.17 from 10.30 am to 11.30 am in the Platinum Jubilee Building at ground floor Auditorium Hall, R G Kar Medical College & Hospital & Interview will start from 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm. All candidates are requested to be available sharp at 9.30 am. Late attendance will not be considered for further opportunities in written test & interview schedule .
Terms of Reference{TOR} :
- Supervisory & Trouble shooting, root cause analysis of testing errors in ICTCs under the SRL
- Supervision & mentoring of Laboratory Technicians of ICTC’s/PPTCT’s through on site visits
- Monitor the work related to EQAS, including sending of panels to the ICTC’s/PPTCT’s/blood banks. EQAS data analysis & reporting
- Trainings: Organizing ICTC – LT training
- Submission of monthly testing report to DAC
- Twelve days tour to linked ICTC centers(TO have to submit the tour report within 48 hrs. to I/C SRL & copy to NACO)
- Prepare SOPs & documents for accreditation
- Coordination with DAPCU officers for their field travel
- Upper Age limit of the said contractual engagement is 60 yrs.
