Job Title : Senior Executive – QA
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Holder is accountable & responsible for overall milk quality management and leading the Aflatoxin monitoring project at site. The area of focus includes: Transparency in testing, Setting up Aflatoxing testing facilities, Milk & fodder samples management, Testing proficiency, Mapping milk & feed/fodder test results, GAP analysis, Trend Analysis, Coordination, Contaminants Prevention and Education
Primary Functions:
- Monitor milk quality parameters at BMCs & factory level including adulterants & aflatoxin testing.
- Ensure transparency in testing
- Responsible for continuous monitoring of Aflatoxin contamination in Milk & feed/fodder with high level focus on education & improvement in field.
- Responsible for setting up testing procedures & development of SOPs.
- Responsible for validation of analytical methods & instruments
- Ensure maintaince of lab instruments, calibration & timely availability of testing kits.
- Coordinate with milk procurement team for conducting field survey of feed/fodder handling & storage practices and suggest safe ways to avoid molds infestations causing Aflatoxins development.
- Coordinate with milk procurement team for gathering milk & feed/fodder samples for testing.
- Follow lead in implementation of GHKs and SOPs
- Review & analyze quality data & perform GAP analysis.
- Generate fortnightly / monthly MIS on various quality aspects.
- Participate in site improvement efforts & program , as needed
- Others duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills Required:
- MSc chemistry or microbiology with 4-6 years’ experience in Dairy QA dept; having hands on experience in milk testing.
- Must processes knowledge on GMP / GHK / SOPs .
- Knowledge on milk contaminants and aflatoxins testing will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Marathi language.
