Research Position in Molecular Biology & Immunology
One Ph.D. research scholar position is available in the Dept. of Biological Sciences, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, for working in project entitled “Characterization of the nuclear encoded hypothetical proteins functional in the apicoplast of Plasmodium vivax”. The selected candidate will be allowed to join the Ph.D. program of B.I.T.S. Pilani, as per Institute’s rules.
Essential Qualification: Only CSIR NET – JRF (only LS not preferred) qualified candidates having their own fellowship and background in M. Sc./ M.E. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Genetic Engineering or an equivalent related field with good academic record. DST Inspire candidates or Toppers of batch are also eligible.
Desired : The applicant should be self-motivated, interested in lab work, having exposure in molecular biology experiments, and basic bioinformatics.
