Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is a company promoted by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India and All India Financial Institutions for facilitating commercialization of biotechnology.BCIL is managing the National Certification System for Tissue Culture Raised Plants (NCSTCP) in the country as the NCS-TCP Management Cell. As the Project Management Cell, BCIL is coordinating the Recognition of tissue culture production facilities, Accreditation of test laboratories and testing & certification of tissue culture raised plants across the country. Position level: Senior Project Executive
Nature of job: Tenurial post on contract for two years (extendable on yearly basis based on
performance). Promising candidate would be considered for suitable
permanent position in the company during tenure.
Location: New Delhi
Number of opening: 1 (one)
Qualification: M.Sc in Life Sciences (preferably plant sciences), Biotechnology, Plant virology or its allied areas
Desirable skills: Candidates should be proficient with Ms. Office particularly Word, Excel and Power Point. He/she should have good communication and writing skill.
Experience: Minimum 2years of experience in plant virus testing or any other quality testing laboratory. Preference would be given to
candidates having work experience incommercial plant tissue culture company.
Scale of pay: 15000-1000-25000-EB-1200-37000
Gross remuneration would be approximate Rs. 30000/- to 40000/- depending upon relevant qualification and experience. Gross remuneration would include House Rent Allowance, Medical allowance Conveyance allowance, Mediclaim Insurance, Contributory Provident Fundand Gratuity
Age limit: Maximum 40 years as on October 31, 2016
Job description: Job profile includes assisting the Principal Investigator in implementing the
NCS-TCP, frequent outstation travelling for facilitating site visits and any other
activities assigned from time to time.
