The Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF) was established on 22nd September, 2006 under BTISNET programme funded by DBT, Govt. of India. University has provided independent accommodation for BIF, with 24 hours high speed internet, telephone and electricity supply. BIF centre runs successfully in a well furnished, air conditioned lab, located in CCT building.
Post 1 : Studentship ( 6 months)
Post 2 : Traineeship (4 months) to work in the DBT-BIF programme
Qualification : Master’s degree in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Information technology
Stipend : Rs. 8000/month.
